Aquatic Therapy

Active's Aquatic Therapy Program is a form of physical therapy performed in a warm water environment such as a pool or hydroworx unit. Aquatic Therapy facilitates, stretching and strengthening exercises, standing, walking, squatting, and various movements without the full weight-bearing impact. In addition, the buoyance and hydrostatic pressure of water reduces swelling, pressure, and pain on injured joints and muscles. Aquatic Therapy has shown to decrease healing time for most injuries.
