Dr. MIRSADA GUDIC, PT, DPT is a licensed Physical Therapist in Maryland, Virginia, and Washington, D.C. She received her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Misericordia University in 2014.
She has experience in a variety of clinical settings including outpatient, inpatient, and SNF/Sub-acute rehabilitation treating neurological, orthopedic, and post-surgical conditions. Mirsada has taken extensive continuing education courses to advance her clinical reasoning and manual therapy skill.
Currently Mirsada is pursuing:
-Certification in the McKenzie Method of Mechanical Diagnosis and Therapy (MDT). "MDT is an assessment and treatment process for most musculoskeletal problems”
-Dry Needling Certification. “Dry needling is mainly used to "treat" myofascial "trigger points", but it is also used to "target" connective tissue, neural ailments, and muscular ailments. “

PERSONAL INTERESTS:
In her free time Mirsada is an avid cyclist who likes to ride for recreation and good causes. She raised funds for MS Research riding Chesapeake Challenge Century Ride, 5K Walk/Run for Shatterproof, a national nonprofit organization dedicated to reversing the addiction crisis in the United States, and 6th Annual Charity Bike Ride to benefit St. Luke’s Hospice.
