Sam earned a Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Loma Linda University, Loma Linda, California, and a Master of Science in Orthopedic Physical Therapy from the University of Ibadan, Nigeria. He also studied in Germany, where he was a German National Scholarship (Deutschlandstipendium) recipient.
Before joining Active Physical therapy in November 2022, he worked for more than 6 years with people of diverse cultural backgrounds in various clinical and research settings, including outpatient clinics, hospitals, and sports research facilities.
Haven studied and worked in the United States, Europe, and Africa and traveled to more than 10 nations of the world, Sam brings with him to Active Physical Therapy a sound cultural competence and clinical expertise gained in his years of practice and interactions with people around the world. In addition, he is a competent clinician, a sound researcher, and a firm believer in Evidence-based practice and patient-centered care.
