Tanya has been a licensed physical therapist in the state of Maryland since 2011. She has a bachelor’s degree in Biology, obtained from Salisbury University, and a Doctorate in Physical Therapy, obtained from the University of Maryland Eastern Shore. Her passion for clinical excellence and providing the best patient care has been a driving force for her to seek post-doctoral clinical education. She holds specialty certifications in:

In her free time, she enjoys being outdoors with her family. She is married with two children. They love spending time on their boat in the summer, as well as camping, kayaking, fishing, and traveling. They love animals, and have two golden retrievers, two bearded dragons, and a beta fish. She also enjoys exercise and weightlifting, and has taken a strong interest in lifestyle medicine, providing education and guidance into practice with nutrition, sleep, stress management and other healthy lifestyle behaviors.
