Farid Boualam earned his Doctorate of Physical Therapy degree from the University of Maryland, Baltimore in 2017. Prior to that, he earned his Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the University of Maryland, Baltimore County in 2013.
Farid is a Certified Strength & Conditioning Specialist, and Clinical Instructor. His clinical focus is on orthopedic/sport injury mechanics, treatment, and prevention as well as chronic pain. Farid spends much of his time with patients one-on-one using exercise, load/stress management, and education. Pain, injury, and performance are influenced by a number of factors in an individual's life. His approach addresses the multitude of these contributors and works with patients to come up with strategies where they are actively involved in their recovery.
