Shannon Collins earned her Doctorate of Physical Therapy degree from the University of Maryland Eastern Shore in 2021. Prior to attending UMES, she earned her Bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology from the University of Maryland, College Park in 2016. While at the University of Maryland, Shannon was a member of the varsity women’s soccer team where she holds the program record for games started and total minutes played, while also earning both ACC and Big Ten conference academic recognition. 
 
Shannon appreciates treating patients with a variety of diagnoses which include: orthopedic and sports-related injuries, neurological and vestibular disorders, gait and balance impairments, as well as geriatrics. Currently, she maintains her LSVT certification to work closely with patients with Parkinson’s Disease to better assist them in living their life BIG and maintaining their functional independence. Shannon is devoted to making a personal connection with each patient she sees and aspires to have a positive and everlasting impact within the clinic and surrounding community.
 
In her spare time, Shannon enjoys going on adventures and hiking with her dog, running, playing soccer, and spending quality time with family and friends.
