Carlton McFarlane, Jr., PTA
Carlton earned his Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy from the University of Findlay in 2014. He earned his Physical Therapy Assistant Associate of Applied Science degree from Montgomery College, Takoma Park/Silver Spring in 2010. He earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Public Health from the University of Maryland, College Park in 2008. Carlton utilizes his background in public health together with his expertise in physical therapy to provide a comprehensive treatment plan for his patients. He has practiced in various physical therapy settings, including outpatient orthopedic, aquatics, and sports rehabilitation. In February 2014, Carlton presented research on genetics education at the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) Combined Sections Meeting. The research was published in the Journal of Physical Therapy Education. Carlton is a member of the Orthopedic and Sports Therapy Section of the APTA. He enjoys traveling, running, hiking, and biking.
Sujay Nair, DPT
Sujay Nair has been a part of the Active Physical Therapy team since May 2016. He graduated with a Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Loma Linda University, California in March 2016. He has 2 years of work experience in India as a consulting Physical Therapist in a multi-specialty hospital after he completed his bachelors from D.Y. Patil University in 2012. His quest for knowledge led him to undertake further certification in Neuro Dynamic Solutions, Mulligan Concept of Manual Therapy and Kinetics Therapy in Activities of Daily Living (ADL's) from the University of Applied Sciences in Utrecht (Amsterdam). The passion for his profession motivates him to hone his skills. He wants to be actively involved in promoting a healthy lifestyle that ultimately will drive his ability to help people return to the activities of life they enjoy the most.
