Eric Kaminsky, DPT, CSCS
Eric joined Active Physical Therapy in August, 2016. He graduated from Towson University in 2013 receiving a Bachelors of Science degree for exercise physiology with a minor in business administration. After completing his undergraduate studies, Eric pursued his Doctorate of Physical Therapy degree at the University of Maryland, Baltimore. In addition, he is currently a Certified Sports and Conditioning Specialist. Eric has played soccer for over a decade and loves to play recreational basketball as well. Fitness, wellness, and nutrition are his personal interests as he is always helping friends and family achieve their goals. Eric plans on attaining his dry needling certification in the near future and continuing to obtain further certifications in orthopedic manual therapy techniques.
Jocel Mayo, PT, MPTC
Jocel just recently achieved her Manual Physical Therapy Certification with EIM Institute of Health Professions last January 2018. Currently, she is pursuing her Doctorate of Physical Therapy at the same institution and is anticipating graduation soon. She received her Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy from Emilio Aguinaldo College with experience in both acute setting and outpatient orthopedic cases and neurological conditions. Since practicing, a vast majority of her experience is working with the geriatric population mainly with Total Hip and Knee replacements in the sub-acute setting and home health setting. She loves spending time with her 3 year old son and traveling whenever her schedule allows. Jocel plans to further her studies to pursue specializations in both geriatrics and orthopedics.
Arlette Thompson-Pile, PTA
Arlette earned her Bachelors of Science degree at Oakwood University in 2008. She then went on to complete her A.A.S degree as a Physical Therapy Assistant at Montgomery College in 2014. She has experience in settings that include inpatient acute care and outpatient Adults and Pediatrics. Arlette has also taken several continuing education courses to expand her knowledge of Neurodevelopmental Training, and manual therapy. She believes in a “whole person” approach, as she works with each patient with care, while encouraging independence and healthy lifestyles. In her spare time, she is a Teen Program Director in her community, and enjoys spending time with her family.
