• Gabrielle Foster, LPTA

    Gabrielle earned her B.S. in Exercise Physiology with a minor in Psychology and emphasis in Aquatic Therapy at West Virginia University. She continued her education at Pierpont Community Technical College to receive her License as a Physical Therapist Assistant. She hopes to gain knowledge and experience to specialize in Aquatic Therapy. She enjoys taking her dog to the park on the weekends, finding local coffee shops, and participating in group exercise classes.

  • Johan Arango Galvez, PT

    Johan graduated in 2010 in physical therapy from the Manuela Beltrán University in Bogota. He moved to the United Stated to grow professionally and pursue his career as a Physical Therapist. He has 4 years of experience combining orthopedic outpatient and industrial rehabilitation. Johan Specializes in FCE's and return to work programs. He also combines therapeutic exercises, manual therapy and modalities to get the patient independent and back to activities that are important for each individual. As a physical therapist, Johan believes in practicing what he preaches so in his free time he practices CrossFit and soccer. He also keeps up to date with new research and approaches in the rehabilitation field.

  • Divya Kommalapati PT, M.S.

    Divya earned her bachelor’s degree in Physical Therapy from Shadan College. She worked as a physical therapist in an in-patient setting, primarily focusing on neurological and pediatric conditions. Later, she moved to the United States in 2013 to pursue her Master of Science degree in Nutrition and Exercise Physiology from Southeast Missouri State University. She received her PT license for the states of Maryland and Delaware. To further her career, she is currently pursuing her post-professional doctorate from Touro College of Health Sciences, NY to graduate with a doctorate in physical therapy anticipating June 2019.

    Divya is a member of the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA), Maryland chapter. She is also an APTA certified credentialed clinical instructor. Divya achieved her certifications in Functional Mobilization I, Instrument Aided Soft Tissue Manipulation (IASTM), therapeutic taping and basic wound debridement. She is also a certified rehabilitation service provider by Maryland Workers’ compensation commission. She works with injured workers and establish a highly structured, goal-oriented intervention program to support them to return to work. She presents good friendliness and professionalism with her patients and motivates them to work towards their goals. She enjoys cooking, listening to Indian music and going on long drives.

  • Mohammed Ramadan, LPTA

    Mohammed completed his B.S. in Physical Education in 1990. He taught gymnastics, individual & team sports for junior high and high school students. To further his knowledge, he decided to pursue his Physical Therapist Assistant degree from Northern Virginia Community College, in which he graduated in 2000. He started his PTA career in an inpatient facility and switched to outpatient physical therapy focusing on injured workers rehabilitation. Mohammed developed and headed the return to work and injury prevention program before coming to Active Work Rehab. He is fluent in Arabic.
